Why all the complaining? Isn't ANYONE better than Sparano?

Sparano won the division his 1st season, but noone likes to give him any credit for that. Its as if Pennington coached that team or something.

Cant agree with you more. People forget that he went 11-5.......when he had solid play at the QB position. Jim Caldwell is a perfect example a that solid QB can determine whether or not you are considered a "good coach."

We went 7-9 and at least 4 of those losses we gave away in the fourth quarter because our defense couldnt execute......not becuase of Sparano's game plan.

Ive never bought the excuse of "hey, this sucks but its better then really sucking!". Bragging about how McCoy is better then Sparano is like bragging about how getting stabbed with a knife is healthier then getting shot with a gun. There was plenty of quality coaches that wanted to come here, but we let them walk out the door or never even bothered to interview them in the first place.

And for the record, im still waiting for someone to explain it to me how we could hire Mike McCoy but not even bother interviewing Rob Chudzinski. Anyone?

Lets see, we won the division because we had a week schedule, Brady went down for the season, and Penny arm was smart enough to cover up for a conservative, incompentent head coach, who proved his worth over the next 3 seasons. Pure garbage, that why he gets no credit.
