Why Are They Passing?

First things first, Awesome comeback yesterday, great job boys. Now, maybe it's just me, but why the hell are they passing the ball on 1st and goal from the 2yrd line? they had plenty of time left to run it and then spike it, Ricky or Ronnie would of took it in easily from there.

My guess is because they noticed that actually had somebody at the posistion of QB for one quarter... but Im just going out on a limb there...

I was like.."Linehan..come on....run the ball.....WTF? Why is he passing it...AGAIN? ARGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! Then we scored and cuz Sage called the play..I said...what a great play call!!!!!!

On first down Sage spiked the ball to stop the clock. So its 2nd and goal from the 3 with 39 second left and no time outs. If you run it on this play and don't get in you run the risk of burning to much clock and then putting yourself in a situation where you can only run one more play.
