anyone got an idea why Briggs woudl call out Miami and not another team?

You think b/c he knows we need a LB and maybe to his oblivoius mind we would pay him top notch money or is it a bluff to chicago for fear or waht? why miami out of 31 teams.

and dont' say we are a good team or close to one. Why miami of all teams is myh question.
 
Drew Rosenhaus is his agent, but thats the only tie to miami that I know

If Briggs really said that than that's a ****** up thing to do to the bears.

It's a good question, but I think it's almost irrelevant which team he chose. He is trying to draw interest and/or create a bidding war for his services. He could have chose Miami for a variety of reasons: the weather, the aging defense, the "win-now" mentality we seem to have, etc. I guess he could have chose another team just as easily.
