Why can't we be like my NY Yankees??????

In light of a salary cap, the Yankees continually make good decisions and are perpetual WINNERS!!!! They hire the right people, build through the minors as well as free agency. NY just gets it right. I can't imagine that Stephen Ross is spending all of this money to field a losing team year after year. He is a NY GUY no less. It's a travesty what's going on in south Florida. The years of the winning in Miami is looking further and further away. It's time to build through the draft and make better decisions.
 
Because you can't buy every player in the league like those bums do. Pretty far-reaching comparison of MLB to the NFL.
 
Imagine Steve Ross and Tannenbaum with no salary cap.

Philbin would of still ****ed it up.

Dude I'm a die hard Yankees fan and this is not the franchise you choose to mention in comparison to success.

If anything they have over paid old talent for years and that sounds very familiar.
 
MLB has no cap, NFL does. Apples and Oranges. Before starting a thread, think please. I'm a Yankees fan too but not a good comparison. The Yankees have 1 WS win in the last 15 years. I'd rather be like the Cardinals or Giants.
 
Anybody bashing the Yankees are just haters stay off the post. There is no more successful franchise in history. They make GOOD DECISIONS!!!! What good decisions have the Fins made lately?
 
The Yankees buy every player that is any good for them. Gardner, Betances and Sevarino are the only players worth a **** that they brought up through the farm system. They paid huge money for a majority of the team.

Sorry bud this is the internet you don't control who post on a public thread. You wanna brag about the Yankees take that **** to a baseball forum. Oh and once again, **** THE YANKEES!!!
 
if the NFL had no cap Jerry Jones and the Cowboys would of already bought Adrian Peterson, Aaron Rodgers, Julio Jones, ODB and the best O-line in the league.
 
If there was no cap in the NFL, Miami and Dallas would be facing each other in the annual FA SB every year.

I must of forgot that new rule that all moves must be made by the end of day 1 in free agency. I guess we're stuck with the moves we made. The Yankees would never do that.
