Anyone else notice this and have any idea why? after his return TD his put his finger up to his lips and stared at the crowd .. ?? did he forget we were at home o.O:tumbleweed:

It was probably for those sorry Bills fans in attendance. It's his first INT for a TD. I say let him celebrate how he wants too.

Not that it matters, but probably to silence the haters like Adam First said.

hahaha i was wondering the same thing awesome awesome play but think he forgot what to do in the celebration haha

yah maybe...

he really didn't have that many haters if any at all.. I think there were a few articles saying he wasn't ready to start yet and that S.Smith was more ready, so maybe it was to silence them? Either that or he just forgot what to do for a celebration =) either way it was funny

Haha yeah prolly this or as someone said to silence the doubters. He can do what he wants as long as he continues to make plays like that!

Seriously. He could flap his arms or roll around on the grass. As long as he keeps making INT's I could care less.

he wasnt shushing the crowd, it was like a joyful celebration similar to the throat slasher, when u do the throat slasher your not saying im gonna slash everybody in the crowds throat, its just a way of saying "not in my house" or "shhh dont say nothing, im gonna keep picking this ball off every time he throws it on me".....get it

Maybe it was to all the guys at Finheaven.com saying he is a bust after 3 games

probably cause he reads the forums and reads about how Henne sucks how Wake sucks and how he sucks.

I was glad to see that play in Vontae's repertoire. As we've seen with Will Allen over the years, picks don't always come even for good CB's. But Vontae showed the ability to really create the turnover today. For as much better as he looked in the preseason, Sean Smith hasn't quite been the same confident player as then. Not that he has been bad, but I would have really expected him to be the first one to grab a pick six.
