why did we call that timeout?!?!?!

ok i know there was a lot wrong with last nights game, but the ONE thing that really pissed me off (well besides wade smith, but thats another thread) was why did we call that timeout when the bengals got the ball with 1:53 left? i mean its 1st and 10, they run their play and get like 4 yards and WE call the timeout?? a little premature dont you think... why not at least wait till its 3rd down or maybe if it woulda been like 2nd and 12 rather than 2nd and 6... but we gave them a timeout to help that last drive and that pissed me off so much... someone please explain it to me cause its eating me up inside...

Was it when Poole got hurt?

They called the TO but we were charged an injury TO instead since Poole went down & the trainers had to come on to the field..

We called the time out coz Wanny thought we'd stop them and get the ball back to our impotent offence with time remaining.

Baring in mind how p*** poor our offence is and was last nite, we shudda really let that clock run down.

yeah the poole thing was different, this was before that right after our tying fg and i had some damn hope... then we kickoff and are calling timeouts like we knew we were gonna stop them and we knew our offense would drive down the field and win... i mean play for OT at that point, they have the ball you should be trying to keep the clock mvoing, not calling a timeout on 2nd and 6...
