It happens every year, seems to me that those people on the NFL Network chose their "PAL" or "Favorite" player and they just DONT let go...

If a team happens to chose a player they dislike... Thay just never show any highlights on that player or they focus on the ones they like better....

I'm sick and tired of them saying that

Cleveland did an excellent pick at 22... "They stole the draft at 22":tantrum:
New England "WOW they just couldn't do better"

I really believe we did a very good draft and we have a C- Grade according to them...:sidelol:

Do they get any type of reward from the players' agents in order to INFLATE the players' popularity and their rating as well?

I just don't know, but this is all very weird isn't it?

At the rate mini camps keep going in Cleveland Quinn will be crowned a bust as it was reported he throws lame duck passes with no velocity and if you remember his arm strength was a question in college

We Didn't The Best Overall Job In The Draft But We Didn't Warrant A C- Grade!:fire: We Got 1 Of The Fast Reciever To Replace Wes, And Pick Up A Nicely Qualified Qb. Pending On How Quick He Learns Our Playbook:err: , He May Over Take Our Current Qb. Now If That Is Not Addressing To Our Needs (main Needs I Must Say) Then I Dunno What To Say:shakeno: . Nfl Network Never Let Me Down So I Didn't Notice That They May Have Did It Intentionally, But Then Again I'm An Espn Watcher:D !

They don't get any reward from the players' agents but it is all about marketing. Brady Quinn was the "face" of the draft because 1) he was supposed to be the most NFL ready QB in the draft 2) played for one of the most prestiges colleges in America and 3) was going to be the franchise QB for a team that hasn't had one since the "legend" retired. Not to mention that he had two years of media hype, much like Leinart did last year.

Do you have a link for that ?

Getting a guy that some rated as high as Quinn at 22 was a steal. If we had traded down and got him there, this board would be all afflux with how Mueller was this mastermind that traded down and got our starting QB. Not weird at all, people on this board have clamoured how good Brady was all these years but when we don't draft him he is not good. Most people gave us around a C which is what I gave them and I think it was a fair grade. Nobody on this board was hyping up Beck until he started rising up on the media's lists. Our grade probably had something to do with taking a player at a position with lesser need than a position with much greater need. Most people had Quinn graded higher than Ginn but a team can use three receivers in a rotation, unlike Qb so of course teams draft more receivers than Qb's. This accounts for why many teams end up passing on Qb's even if they may be very good. I just find it amazing that so many on this board want to find ways to prove to themselves that Beck is a better pick than Quinn at QB. Already people are talking about how he is struggling in minicamp, like Beck is killing it out there for us. We took a backup RB and a backup WR on day one so criticism is somewhat justified at this point until proven wrong. We basically only addressed our oline once in the first 4 rounds, which I thought was a big mistake. I do thing we got real lucky with rookie free agents that should have been drafted like Wilson and the guy from hawaii. i think we mighht have three rookie free agent lineman that have a chance at making the team.

This isnt new news. The Browns did have a very good draft, but when you are a perennial top 5 pick, chances are that sooner or later you are gonna strike it.
The Fatsies make me sick every single year. Whether they have a good off-season or not, the media make them out to be the absolute darlings. I am gonna love it when come mid-season, Moss is sitting dejected on the bench, and Merriwhether is sitting in a jail cell

When you consider the Browns gave up their first round pick next year which may turn out to be the first overall pick it doesnt look like such a great draft.

At least we didnt sell out our future.Draft picks are valued in this regime.

Yeah, just ask AI.

"Practice?. Were talking about Pracitce here....":rolleyes2

CT- One question.... Why are you ALWAYS right on the money:tantrum:

What's worse is that the Cowgirls (My wife and her entire family is from that (red) neck part of the woods) might end up being the real winner here. Not quite a Hershel Walker type of situation, but they very well could be sitting on a top 5 pick next year:boohoo:
