Worst call ever.. 4th and like a grain of salt and u punt.??? I could have got the first down and now they score and take the lead.. bad coaching call tony.. HORRIBLE
 
That was a horrible call....Sparano should have thrown the flag and challenged the spot bc the spot was about 5-6 inches short
 
I probably would've gone for it but it's by no means a gimme call. Lots of bad things can happen like a bad snap. Now that it looks like Miami cant consistently stop the Texan's, I think Tony will risk it if the opportunity come up again.
 
Totally agree! And why didnt we go for 2, better chance for overtime, whatever...I'm not that mad, just a little sad
 
I would have punted too. There was plenty of time left and it was a close game. You have to respect your opponent.
 
Extremely tough call to make. Half the coaches in this league would have gone for it and half would have kicked. Personally, I wanted to see them go...chad could have gotten it on a keeper.

It wasnt Tony's fault it was Ted Ginn's fault just like everything else that goes wrong on this team.


Dont you know it was Ginn calling the offense.
 
I've been saying it all year

I don't like this teams calls in 3rd and 1, 4th and 1 or any real short yardage situation.

it was a bad spot....but this crew is so damn stupid it wouldnt have mattered anyways. hoculi is a piece of **** official...ive always thought so...dont care if he was considered good. jerry jones got it right when he mentioned thhe guys always ben bad.....

besides that, it seems spot calls always remain as ruled on the field regardless of evidence....
 
I was telling my buddies that it would be really dumb for the 'phins not to go for it on that 4th and inches after burning a challenge on the spot.

It's not like the Texans have this great string of 4th down stops this year (Quite the opposite).
 
****in horrible decision it cost us the game for sure. come right back on the defense which they have BEEN DOING ALLL GAME!! and get a touchdown and a fieldgoal.. on both the 4th down plays way to go he challenged the wrong one first of all cuz martin was def over the line and then cramer wasnt even close and then not to go for it after u challenge that shows me no heart and no hunger for the win running like a bunch of ******* ronnie would have gotten it for sure.
