Why do we refuse to carry more than 4 receivers on the active roster?

As bad as our passing game and special team has been, I'm wondering:
1. Why we don't activate Patrick Turner to see if he's a GAMER and what he can bring to the table?
2. How many teams carry 5 receivers on their active roster?
3. Does the better passing teams in the league carry 4 or 5 receivers on game day?

MIA has 4 WR's with missing in action hands, and a rookie on the inactive list because he can't digest the playbook or play ST's. At this point does it really matter? Ginn dropping balls, Fasano dropping balls, Bess dropping balls....putting another WR on the active list won't change those fortunes.

The answer....to make you ask stupid questions.....and it's working!!!

Well I think we have 1 receiver that can get open but can't catch the ball to save his life. Another receiver can't get open.
A 3rd receiver isn't fast and can be covered like an old lady.
And the 4th receiver doesn't know the play book and looks lost at times.

Why add more misery?

Ok, I"m being sarcastic. But I think we don't add a 5th because we don't really have the offensive plays that require a 5th. So why take up a spot?
