Why do you care who picks Miami to win or not?

I see these posts in here all the time and for the life of me I dont get it. People get pissed off becuase sports guys dont pick us to win. Hell they picked us to go to the superbowl what more do you want? Those people that put it in writting that the Dolphins were going to win the superbowl or even make it there have got to be so embarrassed about it now. And now that we suck so bad you want them to pick us: why? Hell, I would pick the pack too. At least they have Brett. That is one proven star to none. They should win on that alone. You can be a fan sure but come' on. We are not winning games and just by wishing isnt going to make it happen.
 
So true, if a "expert" picks against us then their an idiot, but if they pick us, then their a good guy. All these guys are doing is voicing an opinion.
We're just not a very good team right now, we're getting better, but we're still not very good at this time.
 
Yep. The sports guys are homers just like we are. Plus they are always jump on the band wagon of the hot team at the time as quick as they jump off when the team starts to tank.
 
These guys get paid to voice an opinion. The ex-players do know a lot more about the game than we do, but again, it's just an opinion that they give.

As Chris Berman says, "thats why you play the games".
 
the best one is the ESPN bias!! It's not bias when the commentators say..."the Dolphins stink" and the Dolphins record actually backs up the fact that they are right!!!!

and getting upset because people don't pick us in a game. These are the samem people on TV who picked us to win the division or go to the super bowl. You should be happy they pick agaisnt us, because clearly they have no clue as to what they are talking about or can't make a good prediction!!

I dont see anyone pissed off, except your rant here... Perhaps people just like to see the picks because its interesting to see what the so called 'experts' think?
 
I always look at pete prisco (cbs sportsline) just to make sure he still has it in for the phins... i hate that guy (he picked over GB though :tongue: )
 
I don't care whether they pick us to win or not, but what bothers me is hearing stupid commentators slamming our Phins or saying we stink like the Raiders. :tantrum:
 
No one should pick Miami to win. Maybe against GB, but against no one else. I do think GB beats us though, but it should be close.

I get upset when Boomer Esiason doesn't pick us...He's my favorite analysts. :(
 
It is sort of like when some one talks about your momma, sure it doesn't really affect you or your mom, but it still pisses you off.
