Why do you think RW would be more distracted this year?

I was reading the article on the frontpage here and noticed this..

All the training-camp reports have been about how comfortable Williams is in his Miami skin after having made all the first-season adjustments a newcomer has to make. He has appreciated receiving less attention this time around, but has admitted to being more distracted than he was a year ago

It is possible he may put more pressure on himself to duplicate last year's performance, plus the fact that he can now open his eyes wider, and sees that there are more factors out there that can affect him from a mental standpoint. Last year, all he had to do was to focus on running..."Run Ricky, Run".

But this year, even with him being more comfortable with his surroundngs, he is out in the public even more now that his condition has been cured.

And there is a lot more pressure this year because of even higher expectations for this team than last year.

And Williams knows that teams will game planning against him even more this year. And the offense will be designed around him since he will be use one way or another.

Its the preseason, and he knows the coaches are keeping him stabled. Thats why he's distracted. First time he gets to run when it counts, his focus is back.
