I looked up the yards per carry and caddy has 4.5 and ronnie has 4.3

CADDY- 99 car, 447 yards 4.5 ypc
RONNIE-74 car, 321 yards 4.3 ypc

With how much the bucs are using caddy, he will be in da repair shop real soon

Because he has a nickname evryone wants to cheer for? Got me.
:rofl3: :rofl3: ROnnie brown is 0.7 ypc behind tomlinson

cus he broke 100 yards rushing in his first few games. while brown was not doing so well.

then Caddy got hurt.

right now, i still think Caddy is better. but brown is also good.

WHERE IS BENSON!!!! the bears need to do something!!!!

cause brown started slow... missing half of training camp obviously effected him but now hes about where he needs to be... caddy got off to a quick start and everyone went nuts, but as the season goes on they'll see whats up...

Everyone doesn't.....wow thats brutal english.

Not everyone does! There, that's better.

Anyway, some on this board think Caddy is equal to #2 :nate: ......:rofl3:

caddy is going in reverse. did u see his last game he didnt even average 2ypc

I liked both of them in the draft but Caddy has had durability issues.

People tend to judge RBs by rushing yards alone...The fact that Ronnie has thrown 4 or 5 critical sack saving blocks and made some clutch catches escapes most fans that arent as familiar with the Fins as we are.

Looking at yards rushing alone you can come away with caddy being better.

However, Caddy was not productive in two games, and his size may be a reason he is already dinged up. He reminds me a lot of C. Garner who was a similar size and would show great burst and rushing skills but then would get dinged up and be out for a few games here and there which limited his overall production.

Also, I just dont see Carnell making that block Ronnie made against the Bills DL in pass protection (on the long booker pass play) Ronnie looks like he is a lot better in pass protection than Carnell.

I also think RB has better hands than Carnell and is more effective coming out of the back field (however Gus and our play calling don't go to him nearly enough)

When you factor EVERYTHING in, RB stands out as the better overall running back.

First impressions are everything. As of this point numbers wise they are about equal. But everyone remembers his first three games and everyone remembers Ronnies first 2.

Us who watch the game (FinsFans) actually know that Ronnie has thrown some amazing blocks that should increase his value alone. No one takes into account blocking when thinking of RBs but it is actually a huge part of the game.

On a side note I thought I would have seen more routes ran by Ronnie thus far and more utilization of his catching ability.

whats wrong with his size? hes like the same size as edge, if not a little bigger... hes not a small guy like everyone seems to think he is...

couldn't agree more. Also, I think RB will make an even bigger impact in the passing game. Plus, the guy has such great 'push' in his running. Guys hit him and he moves the pile forward for an extra couple of yards. That KILLS a defense. You hit the guy at a 2 yard gain and he picks up an extra 2-3 yards on his way to the ground and then you have a 2nd and 5/6 instead of a 2nd and 8.

well in the end i think Caddy will have better stats, cus Williams will steal carries from brown. and we wont know who it really better for several years. as for now, they both look good. so what does it matter if one RB has X more yards than the other, or X more receptions. 2 seperate teams with seperate offenses.

who knows, maybe Benson eventually shows hes the better RB.

all in all, i think the fins should be happy they got a good RB.

i was hoping they would take Rodgers.

And James hasn't had injury issues?

He is also a inch shorter than James and is listed as a couple lbs heavier. However, Carnell looks like he weighs less than James to me.
