i may get slashed for this post but this is my logical view of why we don't need a mobile qb (vick, young, jacobs). the only team that has installed a decent hybrid mobile qb system is atlanta. now lets analyze atlanta's offense for a moment: the rbs they have are TJ duckett and warrick dunn. essentially they have 3 rbs on thier team but not one dominant one (not counting dunn's great year this year). our offense has implimented now two fantastic running backs that could possibly stay together for a few years. if we were to get a mobile qb i fear that our FO will still avoid fixing the offensive line issue. the vikings were an offensive machine for many years and with the loss of thier stud reciever they have been a complete bust. i will always stay with the judgement that we need a pocket passing qb and a traditional running attack. accurate passing will keep us from having to keep a slew of great recievers and a dominant rushing attack with an above average O-line will give out qb time to find people down field and instill a dominant rushing attack. just my two cents.
