It looks like Ginn is always jumping to catch the ball. Not on the TD, but all of these passes thrown right too him and he keeps jumping and letting the ball get to his body, instead of using his hands. I know he is doing much better this year, but these balls are are chest high and he jumps up for them.

I believe that Ginn has two drops all year long. He's been one of the most technically sound receivers we've had in some time.

Why nitpick over one dropped passed and make it seem like it's a recurring theme?

That's not cool.

He is technically sound, It looked like he thought he was going to get hit quickly and tried to protect the ball. The ball was an anticipated throw and he may have just not focused on it on time and reacted in that manner. The kid is developing into something nice not gonna worry about it.

I believe that has to do with noodle arm. The passes are accurate but sometimes it takes a while to get there. Next year you will see Ginn really blossom with Henne in there.

You have got to be kidding me! Believe it or not, "noodle arm" has won us most of our games. I get tired of this!

Dude. This should win the award for "Biggest Reach For Something to Gripe About". :rolleyes2:

If you want to see Henne starting in the next year or two you may as well sub him in to Madden. This is Pennington's team until he proves otherwise.

Ginn catches the ball with his body to protect himself from the hit. He made one of the most phenomenal catches I've ever witnessed and guys are nitpicking because he protects the ball? Ridiculous.

i hope he was being sarcastic, im glad we have parcells and ireland running the ship instead of some of these guys talking about henne and trading porter and ricky

Ummm....no......Pennington is a serviceable manager of the game but nothing more. He hasn't "won most of our games" just done enough not to lose them. If you need further convincing of his "noodle arm" just check out our 3rd & long stats....we're LAST in the league and have hardly any 3rd & long conversions. This is directly attributable to Pennington's arm weakness and being unable to put zip on the ball...his throws float and hang which are then either off target or leave the receiver waiting on the throw which gives DB's & safeties time to get there & knock it down. If you compare him to a real throwing QB like Philip Rivers for instance, the differences are staggering in the speed and tightness of the passes.

I didn't know that "serviceable managers of the game but nothing more" were known for scrambling away from sure sacks and throwing on the run to convert a long third-down on what would prove to be the winning drive late in the fourth quarter?

I have noticed he does that from time to time. The one time where I saw it as a problem was last week @Denver. He jumped near the sidelines while making the catch with his legs flailing and landed out of bounds. An average WR in the NFL would have easily caught the ball and got two feet in bounds to make the catch. And it wouldnt have even needed to be a tip-toe type catch, just catch the ball and get your feet down.

Other that, I like what I'm seeing from him.

My thoughts exactly. CP is ok for now but we will not go to the super bowl with him. Our running attack sucks because you can put 11 men in the box without fear of deep passes. We have to use the wildcat to mix things up for the D to get additional rushing yards. He is what he is. Were winning now, so I won't complain that much. Example: it looks like he put everything he had into that pass to Ginn to get it 40 yards. Other qb’s flick there wrist to do the same. I just hope some of you fans don’t become delusional and think Chad is the long term answer. This situation reminds me of the Bledsoe, Romo situation of a few years back. The change will be made next year.

I like CP as a backup. He would be perfect
