D gives up record yardage to Pats after getting school by thier 2nd team at the end of last year.
One turnover and little pass rush so far.
Everyone cramping and out of position.
Nolan Carrol on Johnson ? Give me a break.
Missed tackles. Blown coverages. No communications.
And people on here want to make him interim head coach . Please.

I think he should get his butt down on the field and get in someones face. (many people actually)
 
He's overrated. He'll probably be fired when the Dolphins clean house.
 
I dont know for sure whats happening on the defense... but I have a feeling its two fold.. First I think Coach T is not hearing Nolan when it comes to personnel decisions and I think the defensive players arent listening to Nolan.. The reason I say this is because Nolan is too smart of a coach to play soft in coverage..

So when he instructs the team to tighten up the coverage, the players make a half azzed attempt to at first, but then fall back into their comfort zone and play soft..

I don't like Nolan. He may know his stuff, but I'm not impressed with him. Even last year the defense was overrated. If the defense is playing poorly, who do you blame? Yes you can blame Sparano, but why not the DC as well?
 
Carrol should have even been in that position. Better question why does Vontae get a pass. He gets burnt time after time and now he cant even play a whole game cause he ran his mouth instead of just going for a run and getting in shape. He sucks.
 
Nolan is no better then Sparano. His defense is over rated and cant make a big play.
 
STOP BLAMING THE DEFENSE. are they supposed to shut out every team? this isnt Hocky and this isnt Soccer get over it. We had an INT within our own 10 yard line, 2 missed FG attempts, and a fumble while within 3 with all the momentum.
 
The defense is and has been over-rated. They ranked 14th in points allowed last season. That is average.
 
I think that this team has already tuned out the ENTIRE coaching staff and is waiting for the axe to fall.

are you serious man? come on.

firstly, the game against the pats was a joke. they basically moved the ball up and down the field at will, and scored at will. we couldnt stop them.

yesterday, the defense was better, but then again it would have been pretty hard to do worse this week. they still allowed to many big plays, and when we really desperately needed a stop, schaub and johnson hookup to seal the game.

look, we are 0-2, not just because of the defense but because our whole entire team in general has been playing like crap, and without consistency. it is the whole 53 man roster, and the coaches included. but the defense has not been helping us really in anyway.
 
Like I said before, I have no clue whats going on with the coaches, players and team, but I would love to have a talk with Nolan just to find out whats going on..
 
No one should get a pass, thank God Houston didn't come with a 2 TE threat..

No one on this team gets a pass. If they do get a pass it's a misinterpretation by people. NO ONE DESERVES A PASS. There hasn't been one player or coach on this team that has been outstanding and deserves to not get called out.
