Why does the defense get a pass?

As far as the defense, it is missing something, not sure if its just a general lack of leadership or if they need one superstar to take them from above average to elite but yeah, they aren't going to win games on their own.

They havent even played above average and thats the issue.
They need a superstar to reach above average right now. They are not even close to elite

Only the Saints game can be hung on the defense and they are arguably the second best offense in the NFL so...

One thing to remember is that 48 of our 167 points allowed is directly after the Offense turns it over.

The D has given up 6 TD's and 2 FG's after the O turns it over.

The team isn't complimenting each other.

Not giving the D a pass here. They could have held more of those to FG's like they did last year.
