Why doesn't Shula do a Vermeil/Gibb?

I wouldn't mind the legend coming back and getting this ship righted. He can hire his family for all I care. I just want someone that has history, credibility and won't crap on the franchise.

He's still involved with the fins, is this even a possibility?

I don't know about that, but I would like Shula to be involved for the next Head Coach.

We need an expert opinion, and Shula is the winningest coach in history.

He is too old to coach again and didn't Wayne force him into retirement.

We all want something special. Shula was special and the last 10 years haven't been, so I think these hopes of seeing Shula come back are more nostalgia than right thinking.

I believe what this team needs is someone who is stable and committed to the process of getting us back to being a contender. Nothing is guaranteed.
