-We are ranked # 7 on run defense VS the Texans # 26.
-Fins # 15 on pass defense Texans # 12
-We have the # 10 offense VS # 13 Texans.
- JAX raped them with the wildcat and we use it more effectively than them.
-Last year we lost by a field goal and as bad as we were, we are NOT THE SAME TEAM.
-We had a bye week and care coming into the game pumped.

Although we have lost the past 4 games or so against them, this is when it all changes. I am actually thinking it can be a blowout.

Ronnie Brown will have a career game, mark that down. :survivor:
Who agrees with me?

I agree...

But Jacsonville didn't run the wildcat. Wasn't it a fake punt or something stupid like that? I know it was a direct snap of some sort.

By the way is "wildcat" a term that we came up with or what? I hear it called the single wing to. Where did wildcat come from?

While I do think we will over-achieve a lot this year, I wont mention playoffs until its all said and then. I do think however that we will kick some Texan A$$!

I am not sure. Before when we used it the 1st time I think they called it the "wild hog" or something like that. If I recall correctly though, they did run the wildcat formation. Check NFL.com on the post game stats or articles and it will say. Maybe in the play by play.

Yes. Repeated ad nauseum it was a fake punt and not a Wildcat.

I thought we would go 8-8 before the season began and I strongly adhere to it. I am being realistic. Back to the topic, you agree or disagree we will win VS Texans and why or why not?

Last week before the game I headed over to the enemy's message board. I find it odd that this thread read almost exactly like that thread

Myself, i think this is the most dangerous game we play over the next 3 weeks

No way man. The Ravens will be tough as hell. That defense is really good. It will probably be a field goal shoot out. Bad teams find a way to lose and they definitely found one last game VS Colts. That was the stupidest play I have seen in a while. The QB running off like that.... I wish he would have been hit harder for being an idiot.

Well I said 6-10 before the season...and before Chad Pennington...after the acquisition of Pennington...I reconsidered.....and said 6-10....

I think these rookies that are playing so well now will hit a rookie wall later in the season...

I am right on board with you. It is the game that's going to color my opinion for quite some time. We have to beat an 0-4 team. We have to. There are no more ifs ands or buts......We have to. Part of being a good team is winning games you should win. This is a game we should win....I've just watched SO many of these games turn bad.

I am not so sure about the blowout aspect of this game. One, we are on the road in a loud stadium. The wildcat is predicated on a silent snap but most plays run by Penne are not. Two, Schaub is looking to rebound on this one after a somewhat bad start. We have to control the ball and continue no penalties or turnovers. If that dam breaks, we could lose this one w/ or w/out the wildcat.

Houston has traditionally sucked with us coming into their house on defense only to show up against us. They are desperate and any assumption on our part that we will destroy this bunch is overlooking the obvious. We cannot make mistakes and beat ourselves and we are certainly still capable of that even though we look real good in that department.

We must continue to dictate to them.

Reliant Stadium is not an easy place to go to. All those stats mean noting. I bet going into the Pats game we matched up similar stat wise, the same with the Chiefs vs the Broncos. Point is that you can play great one week and the next get turnover in a game that you are favoured to win.

Heres a stat for ye, Ronnie Brown has only 1 Yard more rushing than the Texans RB Slaton. Yet Ronnie Brown is predicted to have a career day?

A win this week will better than the Chargers win last week IMO
