When people talk about where Briggs is going to go and what would be a good fit for him etc..I feel it would be Miami but i hear teams like the 9ers and Skins, why not the Phins?:unsure:
 
Cause we don't really have a spot for him. He's not really an ILB, and we don't really need an OLB...its an odd situation.
 
I'll agree with that. He didn't even want to play in a 3-4, but i guess the money just got the better of him.
 
Hard to get respect when your 1-15. Also its very hard to come convince big name free agents to play for that team.
 
I think people find a way to respect money and we got a lot of that ! i also feel that BP brings us that respect that we need, this is not Cam and company , this is the TUNA!
 
Stop talking about respect. It has nothing to do with respect. Why do you think the Niners are heavily favored to get Briggs? I assure the 5-11 Niners don't have that much more respect right now than Miami.

Its about Money and needs.

Briggs wants Money. Miami doesn't "need" him. Simple as that.

i agree with you on this. the lure of being in Miami,South Beach,the warm weather,tropics,and all that probably isn't enough for some players if the team they're going to isn't gonna compete for the Super Bowl,much less the playoffs anytime soon.
 
I'm going to call it a night, I hope we make a nice splash in free agency but spend the money wisely, i mean dont start out by giving 30 percent of it too samuels, i would be soooo mad, lets sign Faneca, i do not want the jets nabbing this 6 time pro bowler! Maybe a trade too, to free up more money.

respect is earned the dolphins have not done anything in the last couple of years to earn respect
parcells gives the dolphins recognition, his record speaks for itself and he is going to make teams respect us by pounding them into the ground in the next couple years
 
Sorry but i beg to differ with you, I've been a Dolfan for 35 years, we are one of the most respected NFL franchises, we went like 30 years with the best winning percentage in football, we have the only perfect team, we had privlidge of witnessing the greatest coach and QB in football, we were respected for over 3 decades!! Don't tell me about RESPECT BABY!:woot:GO DOLPHINS!!! MOVERS SHAKERS AND RECORD BREAKERS!
