Someone please explain why we want to hire anyone within? All I see is nothing but fail from anyone in this organization, why is he a strong candidate?

How much of his body of work do you actually know? He is well known within league circles to garner several interviews for vacant GM positions which speaks volumes.
 
Well, under Hickey we did better at drafting than at identifying good free agents, so I'm glad we promoted the college scouting guy and not the pro scouting guy. :lol:

Was he hired?
 
We need some new blood in here , Tannebaum and Grier is not going to make me go out and buy tickets , we need a successful GM to run this show. The future of this franchise is in the hand of Tannebaum and that is flat out SCARY!
 
Because no Gm of any stature will take the job with the circus we have around here
