The reason I don't believe that we need to draft a LT is because if we re-sign MacIntosh, we have our OT's set. Look,

We can draft a C and sign an OG and cut James and we have all we need to make it work.

DMac starts at LT, Carey starts at RT, Alabi backs up one the OT spots, and Toledo and Shelton will battle it out for the RG and the loser backs up DMac at LT. So OLine would look like:

LT- D.Mac/J.Toledo
LG- L.Steinbach
C- (Rookie)/S.Mckinney
RG- L.J. Shelton/R.Hadnot
RT- V.Carey/A.Alabi

Then we draft Tedd Ginn Jr with our 1st round pick...as I believe CJ will go to SF.

I thought you were talking about ladainian tomlinson.

The only problem is you have a marginal starter at your most important position at LT. McIntosh is average at best and hopefully we can upgrade at LT.

yes every team should have a LT but is it the most important position on the O-LINE .....well that depends if the qb is a righty or a lefty but we do need a LT and a center

That would just be avoiding the OL problem again and that's something we need to stop. It's been ignorned now forever and Saban needs to get in there and fix are biggest problem.

Thank you Mr. Spielman. I think your philosophy of not drafting OL or QBs is ******ed.

My plan. Follow the laws of success. Most important positions to build a team around:

1. Elite Passer
2. Elite Pass protector
3. Elite Pass Rusher
4. Shutdown Corners
5. Above Average Guards
6. Elite MLB
7. All purpose RB
8. Sideline to Sideline Free Safety
9. WRs who dont let you down
10. The fattest guy on earth to play NT

These ten criteria should win you many games. Thats how the Pats did it.

Very nice man. I really don't think you can alter that list at all to make it any better. Maybe move the corners up a bit but probably not. The problem is we have been drafting for needs apose to BPA (ala Eddie Moore, Jamar Fletcher.)

I think we draft a QB if we get a high enough pic. Saban isn't happy with the QB situation. He wants daunte to be the guy but if he's not healthy then... Quinn can be our insurance. Plus, Daunte is old.

I have, and always will believe that all 24 positions are equally important.

You are intitled to your opinion and it's a good one at that, but QB is the most important position on a football team. There's not even a close second.
