I am writing this because I am getting rather tired of fans who complain, and whine and scream that they hate this team, each time it does badly. I remember the first time I knew I was a Dolphins fan - Miami was playing at home against the Falcons, and at just 8 years old, I was jumping up and down as Dan Marino led a comeback, winning the game 21-19. It was also the same season that they later lost in the playoffs.

I've been a Dolphins fan ever since - and although each year, my heart gets broken, I also remember the highs of each season. I am a Dolphins fan not because of all those bad plays, but because for each snap that they play, I hold my breath - and I jump for joy each time they make a positive play, and hang my head each time a bad play is made. By the end of each game, I am drained, the palms of my hands are read from clapping, and I am ready for a nap, readying myself for the next week, win or lose.

Each off season, I celebrate each time they sign a good free agent, and with each addition, I become more hopeful that this would be the season. I glow with hope everytime I banter with my friends, supporters of teams from the AFC East.

I don't always like this team - but I always love it, and while football may not be life or death, being a fan of the Dolphins is important to me because it adds joys to my life, it makes my life more interesting, and it's a part of who I am as a whole person.

So, yes, this team may not always be the best - and at times, it's just absolutely aweful, but it's a part of life. The highs of each Chad Henne tight spirals, along with his interceptions, the exhilration of Vonte Davis' interceptions, to the head-shaking lows in which he gets, burned, those are all a part of the experiences of being a Dolphins fan, and I am not going to trade it for the world.

So, if you're going to be a fan, embrace it all - because if you do not, if you leave in the middle of games, and proclaim how much you hate this team, you're not a fan, you're a bandwagoner, and when it comes for this team to take off, you won't find a seat in the Dolphins wagon, and worst yet, your experience as a fan will have been diminished for not having embrace each and every snap of the Dolphins.

No matter what happens today, this season, this off season, and no matter who wins the Super Bowl this year, I'll always be a Dolphins fan. In 20 years, when I have kids in high school, and Chad Henne has long gone, I'll still be a Dolphins. No matter who the coach is, where I am in life, and how this team does, 1-15 or 15-1, I'll be a Dolphins fan.

couldn't agree more

Considering all that's happened this season there is no quit in this team due to the coaching philosophies of Tony Shades.

2010 SEASON EXPECT GREATNESS

Yea I Love Them Win or Lose but Rather Win. I'm tired off everybody complaining. I stick with them through the bad times and hope for the good times.

Sometimes Henne looks so bad. That one pick he threw falling down was horrible, but my when a lucky bounce turns into a 55 yard gain I'll be the first to say " I F****** love that guy".
