why is everbody down on randy and chris ?

This is a short post, but I would put it near the top for post of the month. Thank you man, seriously, this stuff is really getting old. It seems like there are only 2 players on our team that any one actully likes and everyone else everybody would like to be cut.

Chambers and McMike are two of my favorite guys and have a lot of ability. The thing I love most about McMike is his fire. He wants to win so bad and we need his intensity on the offense. Chambers is a freak of nature with his speed, jumping ability and great hands.

GREAT THREAD MAN!

EDIT: On a side note, how are any of you rating this thread a 1? Honestly, of all the threads out there you want to give a post completly supporting our guys and team a red star. I just can't believe this board sometimes.

I just appreciate the concept of the thread that he is actully giving support to his favorite team. A largre percentage of the people on this board don't even like this team, instead all they do is bicker about our players. The whining and bitching just gets very old so it was nice to see support for once.

Yeah, support is nice, and i agree with that, but the thread question still deserves the 1 star IMO. :evil:

Why? Read the thread and then make your judgements. And I agree with the question. Why is everyone down on them? Chambers has one down year and everyone hates him. It was the same way in 2005 when he struggled early on and everyone HATED him. Then he scores 2 TDs against NE and everyone loved him. The fair weather fans just get annoying.

I did read the question, made my judgment, and answered it (See post #30 and subsequent posts). Chambers didn't have one down year. He's had 1/2 of a pro-bowl year, and five and a half mediocre and bad years. What gets the more annoying than "fair weather fans" is fans who year after year say "give him another year".

I am an eternal optimist when it comes to the Miami Dolphins. And I do see greatness in both Randy and Chris. But, bad QB or debatable bad O-line offers no excuse for dropping passes. Chambers has been criticized as an underachiever since his second year, last year was the icing on the cake for his detractors and not an aberration if you look at his whole career.

While, they both have many flashes of greatness, true greatness comes from consistency. Randy and Chris have never been consistent. Cam Cameron, despite my many criticisms, knows how to get the ball in the hands of his best players. If he is calling the plays in '07, I expect this season to be a make or break year for Randy and Chris. I'm an optimist, and I'm not giving up on them yet. But they have to produce consistently.

randy has constantly ran his mouth and not been able to back it up... go back to pats game a few seasons agao he talked about rodney harrrisonn was a dirty player and all this trash... so randy goes out on a route and doesn't block harrison who has afreee shot on jay sacking him and ending a drive... btw that was the game brewski was throwing the snow in the end zone.

randy is all talk and little play. and too many drops. seems he played a bit harder BEFORE he got his contract.

as for chambers what good is a practice player... shows flashes of circus catches rarely while for the majority of the time...drops ballls, gets no separation and never comes back to the ball to fight off an int. has been that way since his rookie year.

I think that Chambers is going to break out this year.With Cam,s style.He,s gunna get Ronnie,s and Ricky,s motor running,and that will open up the pass. You got to give Chambers 1 more year.He had 1 bad year.He is a touchdown maker. plain and simple.plus Chambers dont get hurt.

43 Tds in 6 years = 7.16 TDs a year.... Touchdown Maker???

It's been "You got to give Chambers 1 more year" for 4 years now. Cut our ties!!!

You're contradicting yourself. People rip them because when the QB did get the ball to them, they dropped it. They were just as bad as the QB/OL/OC were, and their drops excasperated the situation.

Why is everyone so down on Randy and Chris? Because this board is full of greedy pessmists that resort to flawed stats to prove their point.... Chambers will be here next year. McMichael will be here next year. Booker will be here next year. Welker will more than likely not be here next year. Get over it. And whoever called Chambers the worst WR in the league... All I have to say is... you make idiots out there look like Einstein.
