Brian Schottenheimer is the pick? People are assessing this based on some of the moves made recently.

However, using the "logic" people are going with, Chan Gailey makes the most sense. I am not saying he is the right fit. However, he fits the puzzle a lot more.

1. He has a history with the Dolphin organization
2. He has made game plans around QB's that might be having issues (Kordell)
3. Has worked with Dom Capers
4. Has worked with Mike Mularkey (gasp)
5. Worked with Hudson Houck in Dallas
6. Coached Jason Garrett

Also, would Tom Donahoe replace Randy Mueller on the GM side? Donahoe has advised the Fins back in late 90's. He has also championed Chan on many occassions.

Brian Schottenheimer may be the pick. However, I think Chan will be the pick.

I don't think anybody is convinced that any particular candidate is the pick. If your looking at the poll it was about who their personal top choice was.

I want Cameron. I dont personally care what he did in the college game. I feel he'd be a perfect fit here.

I was convinced it was Gailey yesterday and still am convinced it is Gailey. He is not my favored candidate by any means though

I agree with the posters above, I think the job is going to Gailey.

i read that mora jr is coming in for a 2nd interview...i rather have him the chan

With regards to Gailey I was sort of putting him at the bottom of the pile because inheriting a defensive coordinator who has a big contract, having a gm who has personnel duties, it might be easier to fit in a younger coach into that sort of scenario regardless of whatever the past history is with chan, but that's just an opinion...

I believe it because Wayne is tight with pappa Schottenheimer, he'd get the positive press calling him a guru pulling a Mangini at least for this offseason and most importantly....it hurts a rival.

if gailey gets offered both the dolphins and steelers job, which does he take?
