why is everybody quitting?

All three who quit so far are poo.

No big deal. It would be like if the "Black Eyed Peas" broke up.

No one would give a ****.

[Miami Herald] Backup guard Eric Wilson left the team in what is apparently his first step toward quitting football.

Wilson would be the third player to retire from the Dolphins this week, joining offensive tackle Tony Pape and defensive tackle Orrin Thompson.

Its Ricky, hes rubbing off on people! They will try to comeback next year!

It happens occasionally, but maybe, the message is clearer this year to some that they're just not going to cut it.

I DO remember a fellow back in the 80's who was a CB named "Norris" I think. He was like a real low draft pick or an UDFA and he thought he was about to be cut, so he just quit. In reality, the Phins had liked what he saw and were perplexed. He was invited back the next year and made the team, only then finding out they weren't planning on cutting him the year before. Anyone else remember this guy? He was from So. Miss.

[Edited to include the following:] Norris Thomas was the guy's name. Nobody remembers this guy?

Well it sounds like they cant handle Saban putting them to work so that must mean our Dolphins are going to be conditioned and prepared for games.

LOL

I see it like BUDS week for SEALS. You can ring the bell at any time gentlemen if you want out.

Good memory Agua. Norris Thomas, 9th rounder, 1976. As you said, quit camp in '76. He ended up being a starter for 10 games in '77, 16 starts each in '78 and '79. Traded to TB the summer of '80. I recalled his name, but looked up the other details so as to be sure they were correct.

I think it's all a front. The truth is that Saban will fire anyone who misses practice!

Wow. Didn't realize it was in the 70s. Man, these decades are starting to run together. Gettin' feeble.
