Why is the defense getting a pass?

I'm not sure what you guys want, a 0-0 tie last week and a 7-6 win this one? In the modern era of football if you hold your opponent to 20 or less you should win. The defense played well enough all year for Miami to be an 11 win team, because the offense cost Miami both Buff games and the Jets.

They suck...The offense is bad,but there are somes excuse for the O,The D just sucks.

your nuts...had the o not scored later after the d gave the lead back in some of these games you'd be looking at a 5-6 win football team...the lb core killed this team this year...that and the oline

While I agree our D has a lot to improve on, I believe they've been top 10 in fewest points allowed the last 2 years. At some point the offense has to bail them out and put up points. We put up that 24pt # everyone kicks around as a standard to shoot for and we win these games. No one wants to see us get run up n down on or miss tackles, but they keep points off the board and thats a big plus

So your saying there were games when the offense did their job and Miami won? That's exactly what I said. The defense was good enough in those games to win, so was the offense and we did. In the games the offense didn't score even a nominal amount of points when the defense performed alright we lost. So...thanks.

We made Geno Smith look like Cam Newton today. That run that Geno Smith made right through the Dolphin's D, and his other one where he jumped into the end zone should get some Phin's linebackers cut

I put a lot on the defense. Does anyone think that Lewis and Smith are great QB's? How about stopping the run? The defense folded up when we needed them most. How many third and longs did the D allow to be converted year?

The real point here is that everyone attacking RT as the problem are missing the fact that there is a lot worse on this team than QB play...
