Why isn't Pat Turner getting a look?

Seems to be one of our MO's. Why can't Wake be a starter (best teacher is experience)? Remember Y Bell couldn't get on the field either? How about J Allen, when given the chance, still not as bad as Gerbil.

we're in a playoff chase... they want the top WRs out there... not a time to be getting a look...

Turner is still struggling with his route running and isn't ready, Channing Crowder talked about it on his radio show.

He only needs to learn one route, fade route in endzone. With his size I can't believe we wouldn't use him in the redzone.

Crazy.

Turner isn't fast, he's more of a big possession receiver. He won't outrun people, his game is using his size.

because if we activate him we won't have room on the active roster for one of our other WR's. Apparently he's not better than Cam, Bess, Ginn or Hartline. If he was... he'd be playing.

What about an extra TE or something? There has to be room if you can use him near the endzone.

Turner can not be worse than Ted ginn as far as being a wr. Ginn is only active because of his value on special teams. Turner will be fine.

Turner is an absolutely horrible WR. There's a reason he can't beat out these WR's to even make the active roster, he is that bad. He's tall, but outside of that he really doesn't have much else. He was the 3rd best WR at USC in his years at USC, and his numbers were mediocre during his career. He didn't impress anybody during the combine or at his Pro day, and he hasn't impressed anybody during the Dolphins practices.

Simply put, he right now isn't NFL material.

This seems a bit extreme. It's just too early tell. I'm praying that one day he becomes successful!

Turner has been compared to Mike Williams, both positively and negatively. I just hope he gets serious learning his craft or he will end up just like Mike Williams, out of the NFL in a heartbeat.
