New Raiders G.M. Reggie McKenzie is looking for the next Raiders head-coach.
Two of the candidates are
Packers defensive coordinator Dom Capers and Packers assistant head coach/linebackers coach Winston Moss.
But NOT Packers offensive coordinator Joe Philbin!
As an ex-member of the Packers, Reggie Mc Kenzie knows all the Packers coaches very well.
So there should be the question in the Miami headquarter:
Why isn't Philbin a HC-candidate for McKenzie???

.

Maybe McKenzie wants a defensive guy as his head coach. A better question may be why are Capers and Moss only being considered in Oakland and Philbin isn't?

why did we hire Nolan over promoting Bowles , who the hell knows . It could mean alot or it could mean nothing. Kind of funny though he wasnt ready to be a dc two yeas ago and now he is ready to be hc wow

just remember who called the shots two years ago

Don't know where you're getting the Winston Moss information from but this is from USA Today...as of today.

Packers LBs coach Winston Moss said Monday night that the Raiders have not contacted him regarding their head-coaching vacancy.

Moss immediately became the presumed front-runner to replace Hue Jackson once the Raiders hired Reggie McKenzie, but Oakland's GM hasn't called yet. "If the Raiders were to call and ask, I’ll be ready to speak with them," said Moss. "But nothing’s changed from last week. ... If there’s an opportunity that comes up in the future, we’ll probably cross that bridge at that time."

What I do know is that Philbin is wanted for interviews for the Dolphins, Bucs and Tulane University.

More blame it on parcells Im not buying. You would think that a coach would excel at coaching his damn specialty before you feel he is ready for a promotion but of course somehow if we give Bowles the job we will spin it to the max and say what a great canidate he is

It could just be a personality conflict.

I heard winston moss instantly walks into a lockeroom and commands attention, players respect him and he has head coach written all over him, the dolphins should be interviewing this guy not the offensive line guru philbin, sorry but the guy just looks like he is soft spoken

Winston Moss has yet to have one interview even the rumored one with the Raiders. Pretty telling.

BTW, the Raiders are interviewing Marty Morningwhig. With that logic how many Fins Fans want a former HC failure and and O coordinator that does not call plays.
