faulk had to undergo another knee surgery because his knee swelled up like a balloon when doing football related exercises like cutting and running...daunte hasn't had any of that so this makes me even more optimistic that he will start the season for us week 1 against pitt...plus daunte doesn't have to do the cutting and running like faulk does...what do you guys think???

To our knowledge, DC hasn't done any 'football related' exercises....all his has been setting up in the pocket....no twisting or cutting..so no, it doesn't make me more optimistic...there WILL be swelling, whether he admits to it or not...that is the nature of the injury. How well he can move on from that will be the difference...

have you not seen the training camp videos? he dropped back, cut, and ran for like 20 yards. isn't that a football related activity?

also, in the interview with CB lehan, he stated that daunte was making cuts just fine.

so, yeah, i am liking daunte's chances of starting game 1.

yeah, i was at minicamp for 2 days in a row. the dude was running around all over the place. their was one practice drill where there was a bad snap, it flew past daunte and instead of letting it go, he ran backward after it and dove onto the ball....i would say thats football related exercise.

You mean to YOUR knowledge. The rest of us know you're wrong.
