10 days later and still no public statement, no updated tweet....just nothing. After that first tweet seemingly exonerating the Fins from blame he returns home to his litigious parents and now we have this debacle. Is there any question he wasn't tough enough for the NFL anymore? He can't even be a man and handle the situation as such.

Now I'm not condoning anything that would really constitute bullying or hazing, but doesn't anybody else find it odd Martin goes into hiding and uses a notorious dirty player as a scapegoat? This same notorious player that his team is defending.

There is more to this than meets the eye and the media is blowing everything out of proportion since bullying is such a hot topic. Got to wonder what on earth is going on with Martin. I think that X factor will come out soon and we will see the real issue was Martin's softness and lack of response to toughening up.

There is no onus on him to make a statement right now IMO.

Perhaps, I still this he owes it to 52 other men in that locker room to end this so they can continue doing their job free of distraction

He is a problem no doubt about it.

The fins will have a SERIOUS challenge on their hands when he comes back, if he is not traded or dropped.

How will he react to being a back-up, to being benched for poor play? Whenever ANYTHING controversial happens in their locker room?

I'm starting to think Incognito is being used as a scapegoat for some of Martin's underlying issues. I still hold Incognito responsible for his part in this but I don't think his voicemails/ bullying caused an otherwise sane person to completely snap. Martin not being able to hold up to the pressure of the nfl mixed with Incog being a douche made a recipe for disaster IMO.

He's a damn rat and the only real problem will be the appropriate timing of his release.

I didn't think this could happen past youth sports, but if he gets benched maybe mommy and daddy will call up Philbin and ask why little Johnny isn't playing.

Undoubtedly the families lawyers won't allow anything to be released but did anyone stop to think maybe it not being released is advantageous to the Dolphins? We are only assuming that there are a few texts and VMs but there is the possibility that there is far more and it could be far worse.

What could be far worse at this point? I think the only thing that totally changes the nature of this story -- with respect to what Richie sent him -- is the revelation that Martin is gay. Which... might also explain his comment that it was the 'locker room culture' that got to him.

I've thought about that and that the opposite could be true as well. And ...what texts does RI and others have that we haven't seen that may paint a totally different picture.

both of his parents are lawyers. of course he's not going to say anything

I think if the flow of news here slows or stops, it indicates that people have cooled down and are looking for a resolution.

If we get another fresh round of leaks, get your fallout suits ready.

Maybe he's too busy going back to Stanford and finishing his degree is pussology.
