I first want to say that I have endorsed Brian Schottenheimer as head coach of the Miami Dolphins. And as much as I disagree with Mora even remaining as a candidate at this point it makes sense for one simple reason, we already have a staff and system in place.
I know young Schotty is an offensive guy, and if he was hired the offensive scheme would have to change. Im being led to believe that the Dolphins FO is not at all upset or dissapointed with Mularkey as we all are. If that is the case bringing in Mora Jr would fit because he wouldn't/couldn't change anything. We already have a defense that doesn't need any changes. Offensively we are not even mediocre but Im starting to believe that Mularkey will be staying. Im also starting to think that the Dolphins FO doesn't realize how bad our offense really is. Its sad but its becoming more and more a possibility.

So what would Mora's role be? Is his job just to say stupid things to the media?

Cut him some slack

I am a Dolhins fans living in Atlanta. I like Mora. He was handcuffed by Blank and stupid decision to sign Vick to long term deal. Mora would be a fine choice and would not upset me at all. He is a players coach would fit in well!

We are hiring an offensive guy, and he will fire Mularkey and implement his own system and bring in his own people on that side of the ball, put money on it...

I WANT to believe that more than anything in the world. Trust me. But I just no longer have the gut feeling that it will 100% be an offensive guy. I wish that were not the case though. I don't understand why H. is even interviewing your boy Mora.

So, we're going to bring in a new head coach, and he's not going to change anything? I don't think so.

You forgot the "no" in between the makes and sense. :D

Exactly! The Blank/Vick love affair will destroy any coach. I will not be upset OR suprised if Mora is our choice.

it seemed to me that mora had a complete lack of org. control in atl, i want no parts of him.

Mora is a defensive guy. We have had enough of defensive guys!!!!! Besides, Mora says stupid things and doesn't have control of his players. I can't believe we have him as a top candidate for our head coaching job!!! :shakeno:
