Why no designs to get sims or egnew down the seam?

None of our passes are down the middle and everytime its 3rd and short we run 2 yard out patterns and the route gets jumped everytime. Sherman needs to find ways to get egnew or sims down the seam.

I would re-sign Keller if the surgery was successful and he is in good health. I'm delighted to see Clay step up but I still think that Keller was set for a terrific season and was a big loss.

Egnew needs to get a bigger role on this team IMO. Blocking has improved dramatically. He's a huge target, and running the more traditional TE routes he's the most dangerous weapon we have, also has good hands.

I def expect a breakout year from him next year, but it would be nice to unleash him this year. All he did in college was attack the middle of the field, makes no sense not to take advantage of a player like that.

Man I'm not even sure if Keller would be ready to play by camp.............if they sign him to a "in case he can" contract it should be on the cheap with escalators for performance assuming he can play again.

@hayden fox clay is not a seam threat and never will be there is a difference between an hback and at a TE i asked why no throws down the seam? All of clays throws come on the outside

My point is they had a ton of production from Clay. Why are we worrying about the other TE? Demand more from Wallace.

2 reasons,Dolphins are getting behind by 1 scores or 2 and our record ....we cant afford to take chances with younger guys being 3-3 and now 5-5


I really think if we had lets say a 7-3 record or higher,the coaches would take more chances with the rookies and second year players.

Hell 4 catches from the scrub known as Egnew is a great achievment and u actually want him to do more lol

Sims is a plodder without enough to be a consistent seam threat. He is kinda big but he has no vertical leap and isn't gigantic enough to dominate the air. He isn't fast enough to beat his man down the seam. In short, he doesn't have any advantage to make him a consistent seam threat.

Egnew does have good size and very good foot speed. Not sure why he isn't getting used on those routes, but its not a good sign.
