The Colts look like they will land him but why hasn't there been any interest in him from the Dolphins? He is 6-5 and has lit up the CFL. He wouldn't cost any draft picks and he actually spent some time down here at FAU.

Did the off-field problems make him off limits for Principal Philbin? He has a lot of the things this WR corps sorely lacks, it would be worth at least a look.

Philbin would not want him because he's an outspoken type of guy. Remember, Joe only wants yes men who are compliant choir boys.

Damn. Sounds like duron ****ed the qbs gf in high school. Either that or he knocked up his sister.[STRIKE][/STRIKE]

there is familiarity with him. he was here and we worked him out in april, 2013.

I read a week or two ago that the Vikings were his first choice probably because of his dad. Seems like people are steering him towards Andrew Luck now, smart decision if he signs with Indy.

From what I've heard, the kid has enormous football talent, like his Dad. However, he is a big-time handful to get him to co-operate. Think major maintenance item who grew up extremely wealthy and was allowed to do whatever he likes. There is a reason why he didn't attend a major university. He didn't like the academic side of the equation. High risk - high return.

Like father like son I guess.

Probably needs a strong HC to keep him in line. Unfortunately I don't think we have that here.

Like father like son I guess.

Still pissed at his father for dropping a sure TD pass against Minn that would have got us in the playoffs during his short stay with the Dolphins.

Dolphins do not want to put up with all the campaigning for the Hall of Fame. Like father, like son. Lord, help us all!

"His thing is he hates school, though," Cris Carter told USA TODAY Sports. "And I'm his dad. He's really bright... He just hates school."

What didn't impress, apparently, was his work ethic.

"The team that drafts Duron Carter will get the most lazy, whiny & non-work ethic player the nfl has ever seen," Cayden Cochran, Coffeyville's starting quarterback for Carter's season there, wrote on his Twitter account in February. "I played w/him. Horrible person & will be a complete cancer to any team on the board."

Sounds like a winner. What a shame for Philbin to pass up on such quality. :rimshot:
