Why not play Carey as a Tight End or Fullback? (No this isnt a joke)

I am serious ... put six o-lineman on the field and just always use him as a blocking TE or FB.

Would still give us a single back set and let us use McMichael, Booker, and Chambers, and couldnt hurt the blocking any.

He means to have six olinemen and put McMike in the slot. Might work but probably too radical for Wanny, I mean the shotgun formation is too radical for Wanny.

the only flaw with that is that carey wouldnt be as quick to pick up blitzing LBs and CBs as a fullback or a TE. Let alone the problems he would have recognizing them
