Why not switch to Fox mid game?

Because Joe Philbin is an idiot. Anyone who watched preseason last year (except Philbin) knew this kid had no future at tackle.
 
Why not at least give him help. I only seen a chip block like 4 times. And no double teams at all. What good is having 5 guys running pass paterans. When you can only do you're 1st read before you're getting hit.
 
It was insane not to adjust. That was an indictment on the coaching staff.
 
I don't know how this hasn't been discussed more. It's not just about today either. Can Fox actually be performing worse than Thomas in practice? I have a real hard time believing that based on the little bit I saw of him in Detroit.

He played fine against a really tough Denver pass rush. I just think at some point you had to do something to neutralize what happened today. It was beyond embarrassing.
 
Why not switch? Because when does Philbin back down from his stuborness and do something like that?
 
Bad coaching. Dallas Thomas has 9 lives as a player on this team.
