He is franchised and that typically is a 1st and 3rd. We happen to have 2 3rd's and if it took a 1, 2 and a 3 I would do it. As a matter of fact I would give up more for Brees. He is a great leader on and off the field and elevates the players around him. He is talking holdout and with all the chaos in New Orleans might he want out. What would it be worth?

I don't care to hear about his age. He could play 5 more years easily or possibly more. This would give us the opportunity to look at a Murray from Georgia or the obvious other qbs in the next 2 drafts to groom under Brees.


MAYBE THE 3RD TIME CAN BE THE CHARM!!!!!

There are differences lol and on top of that.... it takes two teams to pull off a trade, and one of those teams has no interest in trading away Drew Brees lol
 
Hey Good Idea why didnt the dolphins think of that? Should be easy just ship a couple of 7th rounders and he'll jump right over.
 
Cool, once you convince their GM to agree to a trade, whether that be through blackmail or threat of death, let Ireland know and he'll start negotiations..

First- franchise players usually cost 2 1st rounders not a 1st and 3rd
Second and much more importantly- he's not freakin available. Why do people keep thinking that teams are going to hand over their QB?
 
oh and of course since Miami is such a coveted destination Drew will take a pay cut just for the Joy of being a part of the Irealnd Ross team.
