Why Olivier Vernon Will Be Giant Free Agent Bust

I think you could plug a rookie DE instead of OV and get better protection on the edge and have just as many sacks and save $10M in cap space and have a player that will be on the field instead of injured on the sidelines.
 
I don't understand why so much negative talk about Vernon. He graded out as Pro Football Focus' No. 1-ranked 4-3 end, leading the position in quarterback hits and finishing second in combined pressures. Not just anyone can do this as some of you have tried to say.

For the record, I think this article is overkill. OV will be a good FA pickup wherever he lands, just overpaid like every other FA.
