Dudes, We just fared better than any team in the NFL against the Saints. We had a chance to win in the final moments...And it was a damn entertaining game to watch. Don't be so hard on yourselves.

If the Dolphins could sing a song to their fans right now it'd probably be: "Don't Be Down On Me, Baby" by Journey.

Two of the most difficult losses to swallow were against two of the best teams the NFL has to offer. Funny how that works, yet morons here want people fired and cry BP sucks or whatever. I understand questioning moves, calls etc... but the whinning is always amazing here.

I hate the whining and asinine threads about cutting this player or that one or even the head coach as much as anyone. That said, if there was ever a game where I could excuse a few of these types of threads (with the exception of the ones about firing the head coach) it would be yesterday's.

Damn that was hard to watch.

It's been a frustrating season. (WELCOME TO DOLPHINS FOOTBALL!)

After all the success last year and seeing how we should have beat two of the best teams in football, this year. I made the mistake of getting my hopes up, when I was preaching all along that this is just year two of the rebuilding process.

From now on I'm just going to sit back, enjoy the games, and put trust in the FO to make the moves in the off-season to get this team back on track.

I'll admit I got a little overboard last night, but that loss is just hard to swallow! Just flat out painful, this is not a 2-4 team! Anytime you blow a 21pt lead you pin it on the coaching. They made no adjustments, a matter of fact defensively they stopped doing what was crushing the Saints. Why they went away from the blitz, mixing schemes and changing players has me scratching my head! Offensively Sparano should have told Henne to run it down their throat in the 3rd qt.

The hardest thing to digest about this entire season is we really are a number 1 play making receiver away from winning multiple games. Indy, SD and Saints are all wins if we had a play maker! This falls on the front office! This is a Parcell's problem he just doesn't ever bring one in! I really question this! I won't deny he has brought in some good young players, but this is 1990 and we need a true number 1 wr to reach the next level!

Sorry guys I disagree. We are not here just to "play decent". We are here to win. We gave up 46 points and blew a 21 point lead. I really don't see what there is to feel good about. Players blew plays left and right, bad tackling, poor coverage, dumb penalties, bad clock management, etc. etc. If the goal is to win and make it to the playoffs at 2-4 we can say we are no where near that. So I disagree. This is the perfect time to be down about it. Our defense may be as bad as I have ever seen in 40 years of watching Dolphins football.

Yeah, well how is adopting a "woe is me" attitude going to help anything?

I honestly was very impressed with how they played.

I thought we would lose that game & posted that on here last week. I thought there is just no way that we could stop Shockey and Brees considering that we had been consistantly burned by TE's all year long.

What hurts is how close we actually came to doing it. The same guys fell short that usually fall short when we lose.

I think this is a good thing in a twisted way. Ireland and company simply cannot ignore our problem areas again this off-season.

We need to get tow ILBs who can pass defend and tackle and a stud NT..., and we won't be needing 30-35 points a game to win...

The Saints defense went to a 9 players in the box alignment. What do you call in that situation? Henning called for passing, but all of you want to roast him alive for it.

The thing is what we were doing in the first half by running the ball was working. When things work like that you don't change them. You STICK WITH THE GAME PLAN. We came out passing like we have confidence in our #1. I don't wanna get started on that guy or i'll lose it. So when they are stacking the box, like the jets did and we still ran all over them, you can keep running it down thier throats until it doesn't work. But we will never know if we could have kept running because we didn't run in the second half. I'm so mad about this game and the play calling I could blow up. I get so mad when our boyz lose it literally ruins my week. I've been living upset for the longest time because my dolphins always seem to do this. It actually might be my fault we lost because right before the half I said "Watch them come back and win", and then it happened. AAGGHH!!
