I like Saban so far, a lot. And I am a real fan happy for the win over Buffalo. But why can't the team fix the false starts? All I can gather is that we do not have a good line and they are afraid they are going to get beat. We had three in a row at one point. The announcers couldn't figure it out and guessed that Buffalo must have been doing something, but it has been happening in most games.

Why are there so many false starts?
How does Saban address this properly?

whats amazing is that fact that in the 2 games against Buffalo, the Phins have committed over 30 penalties!

the problem and the solution are the same 3 syllable word

DISCIPLINE

Some of those FS penalty's were BS if you ask me. I think the Bill's defense did a little beckoning, or whatevr they call it.

they were looking at thosee hot cheerleaders :)

I don`t think I ever remember seeing a team have three false starts in a row, like we had on that drive in the first half. Houck better get that bulls**t straightened out now.

Well who is going to create the Discipline. I don't care if we are rebuilding. We have been at this since spring mini camps and the players have been playing ball for years. Is saban not coming up short in this area? or is it the line coach? Who should fix it?

My post is probably not clear since I had to cover off my bases with unneeded verbage so I would not be called a Saban hater.

I had a good look at the Jills in Buffalo at the last game. The aren't so hot up close! Thank god for makeup.

LOL, i understand your post just fine. I think its a mix of us gaining a rep as undisciplined and a lack of proper motivation. It's easily improved.

Im seriously concerned with play calling, especially in the red zone. I could understand 40+ pass plays if we still had Marino in his prime, but we have R&R, we should be knocking some richards in the dirt with our ground game, setting up the passing game when they jam the box.
But hey, thats just playing to our strength. I dont think we need to over think startegy. Trick plays work when theyre tricks, not staples. Doing the unexpected only works if people dont expect it.
