why the media hates us

I am a long time reader and lurker. I would like to comment on why i think the media gives us no respect. Year in and year out we make the look like fools. These guys come on national tv or write in national media, and predict us to do well. They say we are playoff or superbowl bound. Then we go 8-8 of lose in the first round of the playoffs.
Their reputations are based on their predictions. If they say we will be good, and we are not, then they look bad. They have been positive about us the past few years(ie after we got ricky), but we constantly came up short. We start great, then melt at the end of the season.
Most media people are not dolphins fans, so they dont write homer articles. I believe that when we start winning again, we will come back into the spotlight.

I am sorry if this post does not make any sense, but my wife is away for the weekend, and i have a few beers. Go gently on me, and GO FINS.

I watch espn for baseball, Peter Gammons is the best. When football comes around I watch Fox Sports Net for my football coverage. Thier announcers are getting better every year and are too new to be bias. I also gave up on ABC CBS NBC and go with Fox news.

I`m sure there`s been more than one media person out there that has been made a fool of more than once by picking us...but personally, I say screw `em if they don`t like us.

They dislike the Dolphins because they are all NY homies or NY wannabes and the Dolphins have prevented the Jets from doing anything in the post-season for 35 years.
