Last past 10 years its all been about protecting the quarterback. Brady and other great QB,s don't have to worry getting pounded in the head, and try to drive 90 yards for a god dam touchdown. Marino did it the man way. If he could of played, and not get worried beening hit like a rag doll. Then he throw for 62 TD,s in a season. What's next year rule. Can't touch his knees. What a joke...lol
 
NFL is only protecting their product. Can't say I blame them. They've figured it out. Sport has never been so popular.
 
Don't think anyone thought Brady was Marino. Only fair comparison to Marino would be Manning. Brady's comparison has always been Montana.

...no, Brady is the product of a system like Montana. Marino made his teams the way they were and he had to deal with terrible defense and absolutely no running game. Marino was and still is the best passing QB in NFL history.
