Why?i just dont see why?he doesnt cost us much at all, runs the ball well for us,great support when ronnie comes out, just a good player. If we would trade him wed only get a 4th rounder.

DONT TRADE RICKY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree....

Don't trade Ricky. I think this one two punch can be dominant for years to come. With the two studs splitting carries, it limits the chances of either getting seriously injured and if one does, the other will pick up the slack.

If they plan to move Rick, I say give him as many carries as possible for value and make sure Ronnie doesn't get hurt. I want Ricky to stay but if we can get an awesome CB for him, I'd hope Saban would keep his ears open.

no team will offer anything of significant value in a trade for ricky.

i think a trade is very unlikly.

the fins can use both him and ronnie.

DONT TRADE RICKY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

finally someone with common sense around here!

I think our running backs are great, we just have to figure out how to use them!
I wonder why our OC doesn´t like 100 yds running backs....

I guess we need to hire Wanny as our OC:confused:
Seriously though, we really need to use our backs more effectively. I'm not saying a run/pass of 80/20 because the opposing D would put 11 in the box. But we can still run a lot more and then pass enough to keep the defense honest.

Keep them both> I can't think of any reason to trade Ricky. Even if we do not use him as much as Ronnie what a great insurance. Just look at how many runners go down. Upgrade the line however. Sure we are a bit betterbut there is lots of room for growth.

I´m not saying run the ball 35 times each running back, but i think we have to use them more....
;)

Running back is now a two starter position. We don't have a number 1 and 2. We have 1a and 1b. Ricky and Ronnie will only get better the more they play together.

On the topic of the running game, I don't understand why your wouldn't take Ricky & Ronnie for now, Rather than a big Blocking back to pave the way for Brown.

This set up is great from an injury standpoint. And it has been great actually from a performance stand point. If you hold the same thinking true as WRs and Oline "the running game would be much better if the rest was not broken". And the running game has been good, both backs have proven toughness and ability, most fans have been wanting more of it.

It seems like a desirable set up to me. I think it is the last thing they should be concerned with undoing. They also seem to handle each other well.

one idea that i have heard on here is packaging ricky with another pick to try and get a higher pick

like ricky and a 4th or 5th for a 2nd...or something

because we can use him instead of another draft pick to trade up, packaged with another first roudner, to get into the top 3-5

If it is to get a QB near the top, I will agree with you, but not to move up from a 4th to a 2nd or some ******* trade.
