I just dont get it they refuse to run the ball earlier in the game, and when they do they rarely do it with Brown. Brown had 5 carries and 25 yards going into the 4th quarter... finished with just 10 carries but 69 yards...

They need to give him the ball more, henning is a terrible coordinator... imo
 
This is the biggest problem I have with playcalling. Ronnie was a beast late in the game. I'd really like to see it early on.
 
Dude i agree i think we could have gashed them with the run. I think we should have come out of the half in some wildcat or use that counter pitch which seems to work so well. I think the reason we lack consistency is because we wait to long to run or in some cases wait to long to pass off play action. Whatever it takes to get more consistency in this O do it cause the D is BACK *******

Yeah but did you see that last runnign play call. it was one of the worst I have ever seen... Move all our line to the right, and PITCH the ball to Ronnie to the left!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pitching the ball 5 yards behind the line of scrimmage to the weak side moving the line to the right and ultimately putting NO blockers in front of Ronnie was one of the worst pay calls i have seriously ever seen in my entire life. Even if it worked, it was still a bad call...

Lead late in the game....and you guys are complaining about going to the run? Give me a break!!

Complain about passing too much early on (even though it was the right call as our offense was kicking the first half), DON'T complain about choosing the last 5 minutes to rely on the run... this is how we have won so many close games--by running and dominating the time of possession during the 4th quarter.

We had 3 TE lined up to the left. That makes it the strong side of the line, even if all 3 of them missed their blocks.

It's not a surprise that we passed so much. The 49ers run defense has been very good, while their pass defense has been terrible. They've been especially good against runs up the middle. What is very frustrating is that the don't feed Ronnie the ball. We have seen how Ronnie gets better the more he gets the ball. Today was a day when Ronnie looked like he was feeling it. But, instead he makes one good run, and is replace by Ricky on the next play. The administration is too infatuated with Ricky. Ronnie should be getting 20 touches per game, and Ricky should be getting 10. They are alternating them way too much.

no, I am complaining about choosing to run the ball till the 4th quarter... they have to run it earlier than that... establish the running game, they have two all pro rb's!

This post IS complaining about not running early....its asking why did we WAIT till 5 minutes left to run? not complaining about the run. Hell looking at what we did with the run why in the hell did no not use it well this tape is gonna be interesting to watch tomorrow.

I want to run for 400 yards against KC have TOP at 45 minutes and crush them.
 
I dont know if we can win with these coords, or HC conistently we have won every close game except for houston i know of, and all of that because of the playcalling, I have said it a million times we run the ball it seems like 30% of the time with a noodle arm qb and two great backs, other teams would kill to have ricky or ronnie.

We should be running it down their throat, but we aren't, face it CP and JP and carrying this team and they cant do it forever, but i guarantee once chad throws a few picks everybody will be saying "chad sucks" even though him and jp are the reason we are here, I didn't have the game on tv today but it seems like we never blitz and always play safe and thats why they are always close games even with the bad teams. The coaches blame it on "every game is so hard to win", well how about you go for it on 4th and 1 on their 40 yard line instead of punting it and having their o march down the field right after every time because our d has been on the field forever and their o shouldnt even have it. If you dont have the balls to go for it on 4th and 1 on their 40, we aren't gonna win the hard games or get better as a team.

Sure we can win the regular season games like this if our luck continues, but once our luck runs out or its a playoff game, our playcalling will be exposed and those "it doesnt matter if you win" statements will prove to only matter in the regular season because it gets far harder in the playoffs and if you aren't getting better but winning in the regular season there is no point in winning if you are just a lucky regular season team that doesnt get better. SB titles are the only real win anyways.

Henning is a horrible playcaller and pasqualoni never blitzes and sparano doesnt change anything, makes me wonder if he is really the head coach, the reason they ran the ball late in the game was because they wanted to run down the clock and play for a field goal instead of going for a TD because without running it earlier their run d was still strong, so it didn't matter, these coaches are ultra safe ultra conservative guys who will never go for it and this team will never get better because of it, it makes it impossible to ever get momentum or better as a team if you dont give them the chance to get better, its why we have all these close games and really should be 6-8 or 7-7 or worse if it wasn't for these players heart, the players are all heart, the coaches suck imo.
 
don't be suprised if we are 8-8 for two seasons in a row after this or are just a regular season first playoff game loss team, eventually the players will run out of breath and not be able to carry the coaches anymore, as the talent improves the best we could be is a good team with these coaches imo, you have to have good coaches and good players to be a great team imo, we only have good players right now, and it probably will end up hurting us until the coaches are gone imo, it just sucks that the fans have no say in the coaches because real fans see the coaches killing our team, but the players carrying us, the worst thing to be is mediocre, you can be good or bad but mediocre is like purgatory, you are going no where and have no chance of improvement.
 
actually mediocre is going backwards because not only are you not going anywhere but you are not winning and time is passing but 8-8 is worse then being 4-12 if things aren't changing because people will never change them and 8-8 will always be acceptable while the years churn away and people will continue saying "next year, next year" our team will continue getting older and worse and so will our franchise.

the thing that makes me sick is we had plenty of chances to put away the 49ers today and in all the other close games, today we had the ball leading 14-3 with a minute and 3 timeouts left on our 20 i think and they just ran out the clock instead of going for more points when their d couldn't stop our o at that point. And the 3 3 and outs inside their 50 where there was like 4 and 1's and 4 and two's on their 40 and they punted it, if the coaches continue to try and lose, eventually we will, if the coaches actually wanted to win and took the smallest of risks this game would have been won far earlier, probably by the 2nd quarter or 3rd, and we wouldnt need JP to save our coaches from losing another game for us. Tony sparano was calling singletary on his cell, "comon man beat us, im trying to give this to you, the longer we suck, the longer im here, cam cameron taught me that, don't you remember his quote, "i want to be here one year longer then don shula" ". Ugh these coaches make me sick, they are just killing this team, the only reason our team is in the playoff race is because the players are breaking their backs for the dolphins.

I haven't posted on this forum in an eternity, yet, reading this inane, ignorant post brought me out of retirement...

Did you just say that the COACHES were holding these "elite" players down?? We are winning with a bunch of backup players at most positions. And most of the starters (except for QB) were the pathetic bunch from the 1-win season! Get a clue. With Cam Cameron and his staff, this same team is 3-11.

ok child, u ever watch the games? ever? whats ur excuse for us dominating the patriots the first game and getting dominated the second? The first time we went for it with the playcalling and the second time we played it safe with the playcalling, you fail. You are not a real fan, JP, isn't an elite player? RB or RW isnt? JL isnt? JF isnt? It doesnt matter if you had all the best players ever on you're team, if you dont give them the chance to play they will lose their games too. rushing 4 every freaking down and having shaun hill, seneka wallace, matt schaub, matt cassell and many other no names destroy us is a prime example of no matter how many great players you have, if you always rush four and never go for 4th and ones on their 40 every time or any risk at all, you will never win anything, my grandma could beat these coaches single handedly.
 
We have gone for it on 4th and 1 SEVERAL times this season... I am not going to get into it with a troll like yourself. It was because of tards like you that I ceased coming to this cesspool of a forum.

BTW, we blitzed a TON this game. You wouldn't know, since you didn't WATCH the game, yet you feel the need to crap all over something you know nothing about. Maybe you should spend less time griping about ridiculous things and more time reading a rudimentary composition textbook.
 
you're the only troll you moron, I can remember one time out of about 25 we went for it on 4th and one and that was only because we were on their 35 yard line. Just out of FG range and just in front of punting range, which was still in the end a safe call. I have watched every game this year, what's you're excuse, you just gonna namecall like a child because you have no facts you friggin troll?
