Why we should all be pulling for the Seahawks

Assuming our game is pushed to the night game.


The Jets will have nothing to play for against us if the Pats already won against the Jills.

I am sure that will take alot of the inwd out of their sails making it easier for us to pull it off.
 
The Seahawks game really has no bearing at all for us but it does have a lot of bearing on the Pats so I am pulling for the Hawks.
 
knocking a hated rival out of the playoffs? and if the jets lose theyll probably go to san diego as it is looking more like that game will definitely be for the division. Where a win for NE against Crappy Buffalo earlier in the day dampers our game, so if we want primetime the jets have to win, but i don't think their motivation will change regardless of the seahawks game

It does have bearing.

Could be the difference between playing a team playing for a playoff berth next week or playing a team playing for absolutely no reason next week.
 
I'm actually kinda hoping that they beat the Seahawks. It would make next week absolutely epic, to knock 'em out of contention with their ex QB on their home field on a national stage.
 
I see some people rooting for NYJ and I have no idea why. If NYJ loses today and NE loses next week, we get in with a win or TIE. Any other scenario and we must WIN ONLY. A Jets loss benefits us due to a possible tie. Plus it means they are not as good as everyone thinks they are.

And who knows what the weather will be like in NY next Sunday, long shot but ties are possible.

If the seahawks win, you can forget the game being flexed to sunday night for that simple reason. They will take a game that is win and youre in and lose and youre out if one exists. And right now it looks like Dallas vs. Philly will be just that. If the Jets win today, our game is a lock to be flexed despite that play in game in philly.

What about Denver/San Diego...assuming the Bill hold on?
