I have noticed alot of anti Tedd Ginn posters, and let me tell you I can see why on the surface you would think he's not a good pick BUT...

Did you know he has only played WR 2 seasons in his entire life?? That means as he learns the position he will continue to improve drastically.

While he is learning the art of WR in the mean time he can just go ahead and be the Devin Hester of the AFC, Our strong point will be our attacking relentless defense, this man WILL change field position for whatever team he plays for....instead of needing 3 first downs for a FG after we force a three and out with Ginn maybe we only need 1 or 2...With a questionable offense things like this are huge!

Ginn is just your run of the mill "fast" guy as far as the 40 goes..but from 0 to 60 he will be the fastest man in the NFL...hard to overthrow this guy.

Many people I feel are undervalueing Ginn overall..I will be very excited if we can land him.

i agree, id be very excited if we have ginn, and he will be a real game breaker....

1 or 2 big plays a game is a huge thing in this league, and he can bring them on KR, PR and in the passing game... we need that kind of explosiveness in our offense...

I'd like to see him run first before even considering him. Its been over 2 full months since he "sprained" his ankle. Something doesn't seem right.

I doubt an ankle sprain will ruin his career..He's likely not running just because he really doesnt have to, but I agree you want to see a full workout from anyone you draft.

Of course he has to run. He missed the entire NC game after the injury and skipped the combine and OSU's first pro day as well I believe. Scouts are definitely gonna wanna see him run if they are to consider him a 1st round pick.

I'll look for him to run about a week before the draft. He will need a few weeks to get the "world class" back into his speed.

#9 is too early for him. He was questionable that early in the draft before he missed the combine and pro day. Now health is a huge concern, and taking him is a risk for any team. He is sliding fast and we will not be taking him where we are, if he doesnt run before the draft.

I like Ginn as a pick but not at #9. If we could trade down a few spots if a big name or two is still on the board and still get him around the middle of the round I would be satisfied.

Do you really think his sprain was THAT bad?? He's taking his time if you ask me, and why not? His stock will likely not get any better or worse..earliest I see is Minnesota at 7 latest I see is JAX at 16..

Why hurry? Just wait and if you feel good go ahead and dazzle the scouts a few days befor the draft.

Don't want him, would rather trade down and take Meachem, has far more experience and could come in and contribute far quicker than Ginn. I worry a lot about Ginn's propensity for taking plays off, for not being terribly willing to make catches across the middle where he will be hit, his size worries me whether he can take those hits. I love his KR/PR ability but Randy said he wants a guy at the 9 spot that can come in and start right away, that is not Ginn IMO.

Then I would question his committment. Why not run at Indy in front of every team's scouts if your ready and "supposedly" the fastest guy in college football? Word has it the X-rays of his ankle at the combine didn't look to good, so I ask you.......Do you think his sprain WASN'T that bad???

Who knows at this point, all I'm saying is that I wasn't that high on him at 9 before the injury, and if he doesn't run before the draft there is absolutely no way we even consider him at 9.

Sorry but after last year I will puke if we select another Tennessee player, last years was a joke and sorta left a bad taste in my mouth.

I think there are better choices at # 9 than Ginn

I cant speak intelligently on his xrays but I have heard NO reports from anywhere nor has he dropped on the "experts" big boards, this would lead me to believe his ankle is gonna be fine.

Also he has been praised for his work ethic and committment so him not running yet imo is just another wacky draft ploy by him or his agent..he will probobly run closer to the draft to get the "buzz" going...

Either way he would be a gift to our team.

Although Landry would be awesome aswell
