This sounds just like more media BS I was talking about in that Ricky thread.
You really believe that if the Jags lose tonight they are just going to roll over and play ****ing dead for the Patriots next week? Get ****ing real. If anything it might make them hungrier, but I would tend to believe they are going to try just as hard to win next week as they would if they win or lose this week. Probably will try as hard as they try in every other ****ing game they have played so far this season..............their best. They will give it their best shot.
Reality is it dosent really matter who wins this game tonight so if you want to root for the Jags for the sake of the undefeated season I could see that.
Another reality is that even with 10 days to prepare, the Jags arent going to beat NE in that stadium where the pats havent lost all year long. They are good in that stadium.
One thing you must consider though, is that if the Colts lose tonight, while of course whoever is in the game for them next week will try their best, they may not play Manning the whole game or other starters should they lose tonight. I think despite what the media is saying, Manning and the rest of the Colts players want to try and go undefeated. So I can see them playing the whole game as long as they have a 0 in that loss column.
This isnt to say the Colts will lay down next week should they lose tonight. Again, whoever is in the game will of course try their best. Guys who make it to the league make it because they worked hard to get there and most guys are really competative. They have something that drives them called PRIDE. Anyone who is in the game is trying to win. But, if they have a loss, I could see Manning playing only 1 qtr.
I want the Jets to lose of course for a couple of reasons. 1)**** the Jets. And 2) there is still the shot that the Pats lose both of their road games as poorly as they have played on the road, and a Jets loss would allow us to win the division at 9-7 should the Pats lose twice.
