In all seriousness Chad Pennington has the arm strength of a high school QB. Granted it was better before the injury but it went from a high school senior to a high school frosh. What I want to know is how could their WR be so wide open when Pennington throws those slow moving ducks? I'm talking about when the WR were almost standing still waiting for the ball and our CB's were no where in sight.

I just don't get it. He throws so slow it should allow ample time for the DB's to recover.

It wasn't all of them. It was mostly whichever one Reggie Howard was covering.

I don't know but it was so frustrating because Pennington LOBBS every single pass over 6 yards, you have to be WIDE open in order to catch those types of passes. Our secondary and O-Line is why we lost.

I Will Reply In Caps To Make This More Clear...defensively Our Secondary Is The Weakness Of Our Team, By Far, We Knew This Coming In, And Its Been Proven Already. Denver Had Recievers Running Open At Times, And Chads Bum Shoulder Shredded Us. We Have An Overpaid Bum Starting A Slow Rookie Better Suited To Safety Playing More Than We Should, A Ss Whos More Like A Linebacker Than Cover Man, And We Have No Depth

Where is the pass rush though? The pass rush plays a hand in covering up a weak secondary.......... if the pas rush doesn't improve, it's going to be a long season.

totally agree, last week taylor was chasing jake all over the field, we brought some heat this week and alot of times still didnt sniff pennington. one thing i dont like is blitzing zach. he never gets to the qb on the blitz, maybe he ought to have a reduced role on third downs in passing situations, possibly getting spragan some playing time on 3rd downs, who imo is a better pass rusher than zach

reggie howard gettin toasted by mcareins all day long. leaving huge 5 yd cushions on thier wideouts.

Ya I saw Zach getting up-ended every single time he blitzed. D-Bo and Kevin Carter virtually not impactual at all aside from one Carter sack. Did Roth even suit up? I don't even remember.

we let up 17 points guys, they played deep because chad had no arm, same deal as the chiefs last week, just did not score enough

Front 7 didn't help. Pennington had way too much time to throw, especially on that final scoring drive.
Jets O-line stepped up and controlled the game.

that to me was the worst part of today's game. the secondary was absolutely abysmal
