it seems we keep hearing about possibly new wide recievers....when i think we are pretty deep in this category...do you think we should be looking harder at the secondary and or the O line since we are pretty stacked in WR's

because saban understands the importance of playmakers. that's the beauty of saban. even though we didn't get immediate draft help (excluding cpep), saban is relentless in his pursuit of possible roster help. the guy does not leave a stone unturned. this "last cut" aggressiveness helps overcome draft deficiencies. good job, nick!

You improve the roster wherever you can.

Having said that, just because there is more speculation on message boards because the names are more recognizable to us doesn't in anyway reflect the effort and scrutiny the coaches are putting in to upgrade our roster.

We signed a RB and a LB. If help comes available in the Oline or secondary I am quite certain we will try to get those guys in here.

My sentiments exactly, you nailed it.

hell yeah...just like how Keith Adams became available when he was released. What did we do? We got rid of Labinjo and just upgraded our depth at LB completely. Besides Labinjo is like a 67 rating in madden and Adams is like an 85 lol.

WR help? Deion Branch maybe???

You've got to be kidding me. The Pats want 2 first round picks for him. They're being stupid and he's being stupid. Stay away from him.

You are never as good as you think ....

Many on this site fall in love with players -- and lose objectivity ...

If a good player is available ... you ALWAYS take a look at him to see what he can bring to the table -- AND if it fits with your particular club

But you HAVE to do the work and look into it ... that DOESN'T mean that you are disloyal to your players !!!

Why why why don't people put the subject of their thread in the thread title.

listen, i love welker, and i think hagan has great potential, also cliff russels not a bad special teamer. But look at it like this. If booker is not around next season, and this is possible, someone like Charles rogers can come in and compete for that spot with Hagan. Charles rogers is injury prone, yes. however, this is a guy who has way more potential then every receiver we have excluding chambers. if we can get him in for cheap, im all for it.

I can't remember Wanny, or any other Miami coach for that matter who was so active and aggresive in bringing in new players as Nick is. I love it.
