WTF? How can you possibly start Crocker over J.Allen? How the hell do you pay Wilford all that money and not even activate him. He's our most experience receiver and our biggest threat on the Goal Line. Last one, why would you decide to pass on 3rd and 2 when you have Ricky and Ronnie.

No deep passes at all? not even one. I'm normally the most optimistic fan, but I think I've had enough of the incompetence. Chad has nor arm, the jets dared us to beat them deep and we were terrified to even try. Meanwhile, Bret is gun slinging it at will in our house. I'm not buying the Jets played predominantly cover two, I say them crow the line of scrimmage and dared us to beat them deep which we wanted no part of.

Seriously, did all of you guys really think that this was just gonna be a complete 180 from last season? Did you really think that everything was going to be just peachy with a new Front Office, HC, QB, WR, OL, DL, and DB's? My God, how did you guys not expect there to be some growing pains? Sparano, Henning, and company have to see some game time, too...Sparano is learing on the fly with the rest of the team. He's gonna make some mistakes here and there. What you saw was a rookie coach coaching. I think he did pretty well. We were only 18 yards from winning yesterday. It's not like we got embarrassed.

Oh, and as far as Ricky goes - it's very possible they are still trying to ease Ronnie back in. He still is a little early on in his recovery from that ACL injury, and I have a feeling you'll see him starting again soon. Nothing against Ricky, I think Ronnie has the edge now if they are both 100 percent.


Oh, just a note - I was listening to a few sports radio shows today, including Colin Cowher and others...It was nice to hear some positives today. We are generally no longer looked at as the worst team in the league. In fact, Cowherd said that he could see us knocking off a bunch of real playoff contenders this year. It can't be as bad as some of us who wear this closer to the vest might see it.

I think we will see Wilford more now...

As for the 3rd and goal at the 2 yard line...well I thought the same thing when I seen it live...but after I reviewed the recording I saw the jets using a goal line defense with man to man coverage...I think they were gonna run it but when they seen the way the D was covering they had the option to pass...and it was the right choice because they had man to man and that's what you want...it's just that the play wasn't executed.. there was no separation by the receiver and the pass was poorly placed and Lowery broke the pass up that was intended for Bess.
On the 4th and 2 the jets used the same defensive formation with one on one coverage and again Camarillo got no separation and the pass was poorly placed and it was again broken up by Lowery.

the problem here is that it suxs when we lose to the jets if this had been a non division game it wouldnt of hurt as musch. plus we are like 0-17 against the jet if the guys on the radio were right. when was the last time we beat them dooes anyone remember ?

Because Allen hasn't been able to convince the staff he's worthy of starting. His past record bears that out.
