Whys everyone so high on Brees?

I dont understand why everyone wants Brees so bad.
His only great ratings are from the 2001 and 2004 season.
Hes only 6'0 i think thats a bit short for a QB.
I dunno maybe its just me.

He only played in one game in 2001. Brees has had two good seasons in a row now. People look at last year and think it wasn't a good year. His O-Line wasn't as good as the previous year with the loss of Houck. He still had the 10th best QB rating in the league. We were stuck with the 28th best QB rating and still finished 9-7. Imagine how we would have done with Brees.

For some reason though im just worried hes just going to be a better Jay Fiedler. Where he gets worse than better. Dont mind me im just a pessimist when it comes to gettin a QB.

Drew Brees may not be the best QB in the league by a long shot, but he's probably yhe best FA and it looks like all the top QB's in the draft will be long gone by 16. I think Brees should be more than good enough as long as he stays healthy.
